An Informal Chat with Doug Peacock in Tucson

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.

~Edward Abbey

I was headed for a wedding in Oklahoma City, with plans to minimize time on social media. I accomplished the latter goal while ending up in Tucson, Arizona for 72 hours. I have a poor sense of direction, much to the embarrassment of my dad and also to the chagrin of many of my fellow travelers.

I spent most of my waking hours in Tucson with my former friend and renowned ecowarrior Doug Peacock, along with his wife Andrea. On 9 January 2019 we chatted briefly on camera. An edited version of our conversation is embedded below, followed by a few photographs from our time together.
