We appeared via livestream on YouTube from our home in central Florida on Sunday, 14 March 2021. This, “Ask an Ecologist Anything” event lasted more than an hour. We asked participants to complete the exercise described below the resulting video.

Please write your obituary with fewer than 1,000 words. Write it in the third person, in the past tense, from a personal perspective. This is not a professional bio.

Please write your epitaph with a few words. These are the words that would be written by somebody close and dear to you. They would appear on a tombstone, if the universe allowed.
