Why are the mosquitoes more active this year than before (that’s what I’m noticing & that’s what the gossip is). The mosquito population has reached a historic high at least around where I live.

As I predicted more than 2 decades ago. Higher low (nighttime) temperatures accelerate biological activity. Pests proliferate. Is nearly everybody on Earth ignorant about high-school biology?

Yes

That’s not the response I expected. I appreciate that this individual is willing to learn.
