Peer-Reviewed Article Published

My latest peer-reviewed publication results from a collaborative effort with two European colleagues. “Environmental thresholds for mass-extinction events” was submitted by Guy R. McPherson, Beril Sirmacek, and Ricardo Vinuesac on 24 September 2021 to the prestigious Elsevier journal, Results in Engineering. It was accepted after peer review on 17 January 2021. The in press version of this open-access paper can be viewed here.

As with many peer-reviewed publications, this paper endured a long path between the idea and the final result. I briefly described some of the differences between peer-reviewed publications and the entertainment industry nearly four years ago in this space.

Mugs, tote bags, iPhone cases, tee shirts, and other pragmatic goods affiliated with NBL are available on Redbubble. I do not earn money from these items. Indeed, they have returned far less money than it cost to create and distribute them. I list them at the bottom of posts in this space in support of my artistically inclined partner, who created them.
