Peer-Reviewed Paper Published, April 2023

My latest peer-reviewed publication results from a collaborative effort. “The commonly overlooked environmental tipping points” was submitted by Guy R. McPherson, Beril Kallfelz-Sirmacek, James Massa, William Kallfelz, and Ricardo Vinuesa on 6 March 2023 to the prestigious Elsevier journal, Results in Engineering. We previously submitted the paper to two other journals without success. The paper was accepted on 20 April 2023 after peer review and subsequent revisions. In other words, as with many peer-reviewed publications, this paper endured a long path between the idea and the final result. I briefly described some of the differences between peer-reviewed publications and the entertainment industry more than five years ago in this space. The in press version of this open-access paper can be viewed here.
