Revised Book — “Killing the Natives: A Retrospective Analysis“

Killing the Natives, McPherson’s first book-length work of social criticism, has been revised and published after a long delay. The original version of this book was written in 2002-2003, edited until late 2004, and published 1 January 2005. The original publisher is no longer making the book available. The revised, paper edition of Killing the Natives: A Retrospective Analysis is described and can be purchased here. The electronic edition is available for purchase here.

Several of my recent books have become expensive and difficult to locate due to bankruptcy of publishers. I have made a major effort to revise and re-release some of these books within the last four years. A comprehensive listing of my books, with complete citations, can be found beneath the Written Works tab. I have been writing books long enough to know this is not a money-making endeavor. I described my motivations for writing books more than three years ago in this space.

Won’t you be our neighbor? Intending to build on a property in Vermont, Pauline and I purchased a one-acre property in Middletown Springs, Vermont. As we occupied a small apartment in nearby Poultney, Vermont, we subsequently decided to purchase a beautiful Victorian house. As a result, we are selling the one-acre property at a bargain price. Details are included in the MLS here. Two pictures of the property are included below. If you would like to avoid realtor’s fees by purchasing the property directly from us, please send an email message to paulineschneider4@gmail.com or guy.r.mcpherson@gmail.com. We need housing, and we can no longer afford to rent.
