Self-Reinforcing Feedback Loops: #1

The video embedded below is the first in a numbered series of forthcoming videos that collectively summarize the Self-Reinforcing Feedback Loops section of my long essay, “Climate-Change Summary” (previously, “Climate-Change Summary and Update”). After a brief introduction, this is the first of more than 30 short videos, each of which briefly explains one or more feedback loops. This video and the ones to follow will briefly describe between one and four self-reinforcing feedback loops, with an emphasis on peer-reviewed papers and national-level assessments.

Mugs, tote bags, iPhone cases, tee shirts, and other pragmatic goods affiliated with NBL are available on Redbubble. I do not earn money from these items. Indeed, they have returned far less money than it cost to create and distribute them. I list them at the bottom of posts in this space in support of my artistically inclined partner, who created them.
