WAISC Presentation, 13 May 2021

On 13 May 2021 I remotely delivered the keynote address at the Western Alaska Interdisciplinary Science Conference and Forum (WAISC). In contrast to my prior presentations, this one is light on evidence and heavy on recommendations regarding how we proceed based on the evidence. In addition, this presentation reflects my thinking from nearly two years ago.

Originally scheduled for 2020 as part of a speaking tour, the pandemic led to a change in plans. A year-long delay in holding the conference was followed by an even longer delay in WAISC uploading the conference videos.

The recorded presentation of about 30 minutes is embedded below. It will Premiere on YouTube Thursday, 2 March 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time. An online conversation will ensue slightly before, during, and shortly after the video plays.
